Founded by Dr. Raghad Karim, a passionate Medical Oncologist with deep experience in both clinical practice and oncology drug development, NOVA aims to bridge critical gaps in access to care, especially for patients who would otherwise need to travel long distances for advanced treatment.
Dr. Karim has trained at leading institutions, including Wayne State University and Baylor University Medical Center, and completed a hematology-oncology fellowship at Baylor Scott and White Health. Her career has been shaped by her involvement in over 60 clinical studies and collaborations with world-renowned cancer researchers. Driven by her vision to expand access to both approved therapies and innovative clinical trials, Dr. Karim has partnered with local physicians to launch a service that brings comprehensive, precision-based care to underserved patients—right in their own community. Beginning April 15, 2025, she will begin seeing patients at NOVA Oncology, where excellence in cancer care meets compassion and accessibility.
